Лексические лакуны в словарном составе языка (на материале узбекского языка)

Аннотация

В статье анализируется феномен лексических лакун в узбекском языке с теоретической и сравнительно-лингвистической точек зрения. Основное внимание в исследовании уделяется неназванным понятиям, то есть концептуальным единицам, существующим в человеческом сознании, но не имеющим языкового выражения. В то время как традиционная лингвистика преимущественно сосредоточена на изучении названных понятий и их семантических связей, в данной работе подчёркивается значимость тех понятий, которые присутствуют в мышлении, но не получили вербального оформления в языке. Отсутствие отдельных лексических единиц в узбекском языке объясняется посредством описания соответствующих понятий, что позволяет показать, что заполнение подобных лексических лакун является важным условием обогащения словарного состава языка и расширения его выразительных возможностей. В исследовании акцентируется необходимость оценки лексических лакун не только на основе межъязыкового сопоставления, но и с учётом внутренних структурных особенностей самого языка. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о том, что систематическое выявление и классификация лексических лакун в узбекском языке играют важную роль в развитии теоретического языкознания, обогащении национального словарного фонда, а также в поддержке процессов словообразования и семантического развития.

Lexical gaps in the vocabulary of the language (based on the Uzbek language)

Abstract

This article analyzes the phenomenon of lexical lacunae in the Uzbek language from a theoretical and comparative linguistic perspective. The study focuses on unnamed concepts, that is, conceptual units that exist in human consciousness but lack linguistic expression. While traditional linguistics has primarily focused on the study of named concepts and their semantic relationships, this paper emphasizes the significance of concepts that are present in thought but have not been verbally expressed in language. The absence of individual lexical units in the Uzbek language is explained through the description of the corresponding concepts, demonstrating that filling such lexical lacunae is an important condition for enriching the language's vocabulary and expanding its expressive potential. The study emphasizes the need to assess lexical lacunae not only through cross-linguistic comparisons but also by taking into account the internal structural features of the language itself. The results obtained indicate that the systematic identification and classification of lexical lacunae in the Uzbek language play an important role in the development of theoretical linguistics, the enrichment of the national vocabulary, and the support of word formation and semantic development.
